How this works
Collection
A scheduled job fetches public RSS feeds from major Indian news outlets every 10 minutes. Stories are filtered by keyword, deduplicated across outlets (one card with an "also reported by" list), tagged, and cached in KV. The browser only requests cached JSON.
Editorial rules
- No invented crowd counts, arrests, injuries, or closures.
- Proposed ≠ implemented; permission requests ≠ restrictions.
- Single-source stories are labelled as such; 2+ independent sources = verified.
- Organiser claims and government claims are labelled as claims.
- Only short summaries + a link to the original article are shown.
Stack
Static site on Cloudflare Pages + one Worker for the RSS/KV/cron pipeline. No paid APIs, no database, no server to maintain.

All times shown in Indian Standard Time (Asia/Kolkata, UTC+05:30). Timestamps reflect either the publisher's stated time or the collection time.
